Welcome to the official website of the International Airport Development Company Limited (IADCL). The IADCL is a private limited liability company wholly owned by the government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. It was incorporated under the Companies Act of St Vincent and the Grenadines.
The company's mandate is to spearhead and coordinate all matters relating to the financing and construction of the Argyle International Airport and arranging for the effective management of the airport on its completion. Work on the Argyle International Airport began shortly after the Honourable Prime Minister Dr. Ralph E. Gonsalves's historic speech on August 8th, 2005. In that speech, the Prime Minister sets out the government's commitment to the airport project and how the project is to be financed.
Several electricians from the IADC and the E.T Joshua Airport were recently involved in a one week training course from July 18th to 22nd to ensure that those who would be working at the Argyle International Airport are adequately equipped to maintain and operate the Airfield lighting system.
Work on the construction of the Argyle International Airport is currently at the winding down stage as the International Airport Development Company (IADC) prepares for the eventual handing over of the project to Argyle International Airport (AIA) Management Company.
